| Home Invasion Reported
Filed by: ian There was a home invasion in the Nimbin area, yesterday. Details are sketchy. I spoke with Police duty officer Inspector Larkin today, but he could not provide additional information, other than to confirm it had happened. Look, Up in the Sky.. A police helicopter in the area has been reported to the Hemp Embassy today. The police helicopter was seen over Tuntable Falls Community. It did not stay long, only 10 minutes the witness said, & only was looking around. It was not gridding.

| Weekend Soccer Win
Filed by: ian Soccer, where our Nimbin Headers soccer club has 3 teams in the competition this season. Results of the 1st match of the season were: Men's (division 5) Nimbin won 4-0 against Dunoon. Best player was Tom Campbell. Men's (35+) Nimbin lost 0-1 against Alstonville. Nimbin's best was Neil McLean. Nimbin had many scoring opportunities in this match & should've won, but they could just not put the ball into the back of the net. Girls (division 3). Nimbin lost 1-4 to the Lismore Stars. Nimbin's best was Lucinda Moore. This game was much closer than the scores indicate. Half way thru the match the scores were 1-2 & Nimbin had shot at goal which would have leveled the score, but unfortunately the ball hit the top of the post & didn't go in, & Lismore pulled away after that. Next week all Nimbin Headers matches are away games.
