| Declaration of Intent Name.

| The name of Nimbin Community Radio shall be Nimbin Independent Media NIM-FM Community Radio,
referred to in this Constitution as "The Association". |
|
The objects of the Association shall be to, |
| (1) | (a) Operate and manage a Nimbin community radio station
|
| | (b) Provide local educational, music, art, literature, environmental, sport agricultural and indigenous peoples programs
|
| (2) | Provide assistance and free airtime when required to the following Services:
|
| | (a) State Emergency Service |
|
| (b) Helicopter Rescue Service |
| | (c) Bush Fire Service
|
| | (d) Police Service |
|
(3) | To be used freely as a vehicle for promoting local Charities and Community Projects. With a
long term objective of expanding and exploring the feasibility of incorporating a Community Television Service.

| (4) | Any moneys acquired in excess of those moneys required for the efficient administration, maintenance and future
development of the association shall be allocated at the Annual General Meeting of the Association for donation to any non
profit making incorporated institution or organisation within the Nimbin region which is deemed by the Association to be in need
of such a charitable donation.
